Configuration - User Access

About configuring User Access

Individual user ports can be configured with different access rights from the complete available channel
list (FIG. 14). As with other controls via the web page, changes are instantaneously applied as they are
made.
User ports on the TVM-1600 are listed across the top of the page (beneath the Channels), with channels
listed down the left of page.
A green tick against a channel indicates that the user port in question will have access to this channel.
Channels above 16 are selected by clicking on the Channels link across the top of the page (1-16, 17-32,
33-48, 49-64, etc.).

Configuring User Access
Global changes can be controlled by selecting the check boxes either to the right hand side of page or
along the bottom of the screen. Then click on the enable / disable all channels / ports link.

Individual configuration of TVM user ports access

To configure a TVM user port to view a channel:
1. Click on the User Access option.
2. Beneath the appropriate TVM user port column, click the tick box(es) to activate the relevant
channel(s) which this port has access to. A green tick is visible – user port has access to that
channel(s).
3. If necessary, click on the Channels 17-32 link or Channels 33-48 link from the top of screen to
configure the same TVM user port for TV channel numbers over 16.
4. Repeat the process for other TVM user ports.

Global Configuration of TVM user ports

To configure a TVM user port to view multiple channels (in groups of 16):
1. Click on the User Access page.
2. Beneath the appropriate TVM user port column at the bottom of the screen click the tick box to
activate the global configuration option for that User port (FIG. 15).
