Saving the IR File to your PC

Once an IR protocol has been learned for a specific port it can simply be copied to a PC, then copied
across the network to other ports using the tftp command.
Endeleo advises you create a folder to save your IR tables in and change to that directory in the
command prompt.
To save the IR file;
1. Open a command prompt.
2. At the command prompt type the following command;
When naming an IR file, the file must always start with the letter "i", to signify that this
is an IR protocol.

3. Upon completion, a successful transfer message will be displayed (FIG. 42).

To load a previously saved IR table

Previously saved IR tables can be uploaded to the TVM-1600 Hub;
1. At the command prompt, navigate to the location where the IR table is saved.
2. Enter the following command to put the file on a port on the TVM Hub (FIG. 43):

tftp –i [IP address of hub] get iname.port number
Where iname is the user-defined name given to this IR device and where the port number
suffix relates to the port number e.g. .001 is for port 1, .016 for port 16, where the Ir file
is stored.
A sample command for an IR device name "iSonyLCD" on port 1 is listed below

tftp –i 192.168.1.200 get iSonyLCD.001
tftp –i [IP address of hub] put [name of ir table].XXX
Where XXX is the port number the TVM-RX03 is connected to.
