About IR Learning

The Endeleo Managed TV solution supports the learning of Infrared (IR) control protocols for centrally
located devices, i.e. devices connected to the rear of the TVM-Hub.
These devices can be DVD players, VCRs or Cable / Satellite Receivers. For example it is possible from
an end point to issue a remote IR request and select the "Play" function on a remotely located DVD
player.

To Perform IR Learning

The two stages for learning IR Protocols are:
1. Train the TVM-1600 to understand the timing sequences of the remote control protocol and
2. Learn the IR code for specific functions on that remote control.

Learning the Device's IR protocol

1. A console session needs to be opened on the Managed TV hub. The configuration settings for the
