Display device IR control
The Endeleo Managed TV solution supports the learning of the Infrared (IR) control protocols for
display devices (e.g. CRT TV, LCD, Plasma, Projector).
For example it is possible to turn a display device on and off from the TVM-1600. This section describes
how to learn the IR Protocol for the display device and save it to the TVM-RX03 unit.
An IR Blaster is then connected to the TVM-RX03 and attached to the TV screen over its IR sensor to
accept IR commands from the Endeleo RX.
Important Notes:
1. The IR learning is carried out at the TVM-1600 hub.
2. Care should be taken to shield the hub from other IR devices during the learning process.
3. Once learned, the IR protocol is stored on the receive unit.
Care should therefore be taken when moving receive units between different display
devices.
