Check-List for Mounting
This check-list is only an overview which sums up the most important mounting
instructions, e.g. those relevant for making the acceptance test of an installation.
Always read and observe the information given in the relevant
sections of this manual. Working through this check-list does not
relieve you of reading and observing these instructions.
Sec. 2
Precautions
Did and do you observe all precautions?
Did and do you observe the maintenance instructions in the service plan?
Sec. 3
Mounting the AC 800F
Is the minimum spacing of 150 mm observed (3.1.2)?
Are air vents unblocked (3.1.2.1)?
Is the maximum permissible ambient temperature of 60 °C observed (3.1.2.1)?
For mounting outside a cabinet:
Did you use the special contact ledge RW 855F for applying the cable shield
(3.1.4 / 3.1.5)?
For vibration-proof wall mounting: Did you use mounting material RW 850F
(3.1.5)?
Did you follow the special mounting instructions in this manual (3.1.5)?
Grounding: Did you make the functional grounding (3.2)?
Is good conductivity of the grounding strap for functional grounding ensured?
Did you use bright metal surfaces without varnish for grounding (3.2)?
Does the grounding strap have a max. length of 300 mm (3.2)?
For power supply module: Did you fasten the mains connector with screws
(3.3.1 - 3.3.4)?
Did you protect all unused connections with dummy plugs?
For all modules:
Did you fasten all modules with screws or bayonet locks (3.3)?
Are the slide-locks in the "Lock" position (3.3)?
Are empty slots covered with AM 895F dummy panels (3.3.7)?
