Peculiarities in redundancy mode:
If in redundancy mode the Reset button on the Primary is pressed for more than
4 seconds, the Primary will make a cold start, and a redundancy toggle occurs. If
the Reset button on the Secondary is pressed for more than 4 seconds, only the
Secondary will perform a cold start. If the Reset button on the Primary is actuated
for less than 4 seconds, both AC 800F perform a warm start. The Primary remains
the Primary. Pressing the Reset button on the Secondary for less than 4 seconds
has no effect.
Run/Stop switch
Serves for starting and stopping the functional sequences of control.
In redundancy mode, the position of the Run/Stop switch on the active AC 800F
(Primary) has an effect on both AC 800F. The switch on the passive AC 800F
(Secondary) is ignored. After a redundancy toggle the last state of the Primary
remains unchanged, independent of the switch position on the then active AC 800F.
Only if the switch on the then active AC 800F is actuated again, a synchronization of the
switch position and the indicator LEDs takes place. The positions of the Run/Stop
switches on both devices are permanently monitored. If a mismatch is recognized, a
system message is generated within 15 seconds, reporting the current position of both
switches.

Toggle switch
If an AC 800F is in redundancy mode and in SYNC mode at the same time, actuating
the toggle switch on the Primary will cause a change-over to redundancy mode.
The AC 800F which was active up to that moment changes over to the passive state
without being rebooted. Actuation of the Prim/Sec toggle switch on the passive
AC 800F will be ignored.
Manual change-over by actuation of the Prim/Sec toggle switch is only
possible on the Primary. Actuating the Prim/Sec toggle switch on the
Secondary has not effect.
Normal operation. Functional sequences are running. When the
module is reset and a self-test is initiated, no configuration
menu appears on the diagnostic interface.
Functional sequences are stopped. When the module is reset
and a self-test is initiated, a configuration menu appears on
the diagnostic interface.
