Setting the exposure time
In manual exposure mode, you can set any exposure time (shutter speed).
How to adjust the exposure
In the DS-L4, the exposure is determined by the combination of exposure time and camera gain.

In the LIVE menu, make sure that the exposure mode is
[M] (manual).
Note: In [P] (program AE) or [F] (focus-priority AE)
mode, you cannot set the exposure time.

In the LIVE menu, tap [EXP TIME].

Adjust the value of the exposure time.
The range of values that can be set differs depending on the
camera.
Set the desired value, viewing the live image.

Tap [OK].
Range of values that can be set
The following shows the range of values that can be set as the exposure time:
If the DS-Fi3 connected
Setting at the power-on time
The exposure time setting is saved when the power is turned off, and restored the next time the power is turned
on. However, if a custom setting is selected ([SETTINGS] > [DS SETUP] > [MAIN] > [CUSTOM No.]), the
exposure time value specified in that custom setting is used.
