4.2 ETSI environmental requirements
Observe the following environmental requirements when handling BEACON 6

4.2.2
Transportation
According to EN 300-019-1-2 - Class 2.3, transportation of the equipment must be
in packed, public transportation with no rain on packing allowed.
4.2.3
EU RoHS
European Union (EU) Directive 2011/65/EU, "Restriction of the use of certain
Hazardous Substances" (RoHS), restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium,
hexavalent chromium, and certain flame retardants in electrical and electronic
equipment. Nokia products shipped to the EU comply with the EU RoHS Directive.
Nokia has implemented a material/substance content management process. The
process is described in: Nokia process for ensuring RoHS Compliance
(1AA002660031ASZZA). This ensures compliance with the European Union
Directive 2011/65/EU on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous
Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
4.2.4
End-of-life collection and treatment
Electronic products bearing or referencing the symbol shown in Figure 5, when put
on the market within the European Union (EU), shall be collected and treated at
the end of their useful life, in compliance with applicable EU and local legislation.
They shall not be disposed of as part of unsorted municipal waste. Due to
materials that may be contained in the product, such as heavy metals or batteries,
