Turning around on a hill (k-turns)

If the engine stalls while riding uphill, or if wheels start to
spin, never back down the hill! Use the k-turn instead to
turn your ATV around from the hill.
1. Stop and lock the parking brake while keeping
your body weight shifted forward.
2. The machine allows engine braking when driving
downhill.
3. Leave the transmission in gear and stop the
engine.
4. Dismount the vehicle on the uphill side, or on the left
if the vehicle is pointing straight uphill. While staying
uphill of the vehicle, turn the handlebars fully to the
left.
5. While holding
parking brake lock and slowly allow the vehicle to
roll around to your right until it's pointing across the
hill or slightly downward.
6. Lock the parking brake. Remount the vehicle from
the uphill side, keeping your body weight uphill.
