Renforcer les boutonnières avec un fil interca-
laire
Nous vous recommandons d'utiliser un fil intercalaire
pour les boutonnières sur des tissus élastique.
Montez le pied boutonnière et accrochez le fil inter-

calaire derrière le pied et faites-le glisser sous le pied.
Ramenez les deux extrémités du fil sur l'avant du pied,
placez-les dans les rainures et fixez-les provisoirement
en faisant un nœud. Abaissez le pied et commencez à
coudre.
Adaptez la largeur du point en fonction de l'épaisseur
du fil intermédiaire.
Une fois la couture terminée, tirez avec précaution sur

les extrémités du fil intermédiaire, de manière à ce qu'il
soit bien tendu dans la broderie. Coupez ensuite les
extrémités du fil qui dépassent.
REMARQUE : Il est recommandé d'utiliser une triplure
pour l'envers du tissu.
Buttonhole Sewing
Making corded buttonholes
When sewing corded buttonholes, hook a heavy thread
or cord under the buttonhole foot.
Attach the buttonhole foot and hook the gimp thread

onto the back of the presser foot. Bring the two gimp
thread ends to the front of the foot and insert them
into the grooves, then temporarily tie them there. Low-
er the presser foot and start sewing.
Set the stitch width to match the diameter of the
gimp thread.
Once sewing is completed, pull the gimp thread gently

to remove any slack, then trim off any excess.
NOTE : It is suggested that you use interfacing on the
backside of the fabric.

Când faceţi butonieră pe un material elastic prindeţi aţa
groasă sau şnurul sub picioruşul de butonieră.
Ataşaţi picioruşul pentru butonieră şi agăţaţi şnurul

pe partea din spate a picioruşului. Adunaţi cele două
capete de fir la partea din faţă a picioruşului şi intro-
duceţi-le în caneluri, apoi legati- le temporar acolo.
Coborâţi picioruşul şi începeţi să coaseţi.
Setaţi lăţimea cusăturii pentru a se potrivi diametrul
firului.
Odata ce ati terminat de cusut, trageti de snur incet, si

apoi taiati-l pentru a indeparta excesul de snur.
RUGĂM NOTAȚI : Este sugerat să utilizaţi interfaţa pe
partea din spate a ţesăturii.
