PORT CONNECTIONS

This section provides information on the use of the ArgentOffice ports. It covers:

DTE Port.

DC Power Input Connector.

Connection to Basic Rate ISDN (BRI).
Connection to Primary Rate ISDN (PRI).

The DTE port is presented as a standard 25 way D-Type socket on the rear of the unit.
This port is used as a diagnostic aid. This port is labelled:

The ArgentOffice products use a Plug Top PSU module to provide DC power.
The Plug Top PSU is plugged into a suitable mains power outlet and provides a 12Volt
unregulated DC output. This unregulated DC is fed into the unit via the DC Input port.
