Features provided by standard Caller Display telephones or Caller Display units. All of these can be used with the ArgentOffice range of products to provide a fully integrated voice and data system with features otherwise only available on expensive call centre systems.
All ISDN and WAN cables used with this product must not be longer than 3m. Refer to Cables, page 24 for details. For all territories except Australia, the 1A 12V Plug Top PSU supplied with the ArgentOffice must only be connected to 50Hz AC power sources in the range 220 – 240V.

Section 1: Introduction to ArgentOffice PRODUCT VARIANTS As a standalone product the ArgentOffice can be used as an IP Router with integral Firewall. When used in conjunction with an ArgentPhone module the ArgentOffice acts as a fully featured PBX. The ArgentOffice product range consists of three models, the ArgentOffice 4, the ArgentOffice 8 and the ArgentOffice 30.
All models are supplied both with a UK and an EU Plug Top Power Supply. The UK variant uses an integral UK plug whereas the European variant uses an integral European plug. The power supply used for the ArgentOffice is rated at 12V, 1A and has integral mains and DC power leads.

Section 1: Introduction to ArgentOffice PORT CONNECTIONS This section provides information on the use of the ArgentOffice ports. It covers: DTE Port. DC Power Input Connector. Connection to Basic Rate ISDN (BRI). Connection to Primary Rate ISDN (PRI). Connection to a LAN.
The ArgentOffice 4 and the ArgentOffice 8 connect to Basic Rate ISDN. The ArgentOffice 4 has two BRI ports, whereas the ArgentOffice 8 has four BRI ports. Each ArgentOffice comes supplied with suitable cables for connection to the ISDN Network.
ONNECTION TO AN EASED The Leased Line port on the rear of the ArgentOffice is labelled as follows: This port supports a single synchronous data connection, and can support an X.21, V.35 or V.24/V.28 interface.
