Configuring Modbus Pass-through
See
3-79. The Power Zone Connectivity Server
Figure
acts as a gateway for external systems to exchange data
with a Power Zone System using Modbus. The
Connectivity Server supports both Modbus TCP and
Modbus RTU over RS-485.
Check the Enable box under Modbus TCP to enable
Modbus TCP access.
Check the Enable box under Modus RTU to enable
Modbus RTU access and configure the RS-485 port to
match your external system's communication settings. To
configure the RS-485 port, set the slave ID of the
Connectivity Server, select the RS-485 port from the
Serial Port list and set the communication settings Baud
Rate, Stop Bits and Parity.
