2.2 Operating Instructions
This operating instruction is relevant for the RACO-electric actuator type 6 / Compact series in size
2,4,6,7 and for the type T1A2 / T1B2.
This documentation addresses to assemblers and (plant) operators. It contains important information
on how to mount, operate, inspect and disassembly the product, as well as how to clear simple
troubles on your own. This equipment was developed and tested based upon the existing safety
standards (or the drafts of them) and regulations. This equipment is state-of-the-art. We reserve
ourselves the right to make technical changes.
Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and carefully. Observance of the operating in-
structions and the safety instructions is an essential requirement for smooth operation of the machine
and for the fulfilment of any possible guarantee claims
General Note
This product has been developed and tested in accordance with the applicable safety norms (or draft
norms) and regulations. The product conforms to the latest state of the technology.
If you install this machine in another machine or system, you are responsible for
ensuring complete technical documentation including the operating instructions,
–
issuing a conformity declaration if bringing the machine into the internal European market,
–
ensuring that the CE symbol is applied to the complete machine (cabinet or control panel).

Please check therefore whether by installing this machine in another machine you should add further
instructions to these operating instructions.
A special qualification is required for some activities. This qualification is specified in the instructions
on these activities. These activities should only be carried out if you have the necessary qualifications.
