THE MENU
Overview of the menu settings
• Press the »MENU« button and then use the up-down
button » « or » « to select the »Settings« menu item
and confirm with »OK«.
You can select the following settings:
ESC
– Voice activ.
– Mic. sensitivity
ESC
– PC microphone
– Power off
– Illumination
– Time, Date
– Dictation counter Resets the dictation counter to "001".
– Version
– Reset all
– Language

Voice activation. Recording is auto-
matically interrupted when the spea-
ker pauses.
Sets the sensitivity of the microphone.
Activates the dictation machine as a
microphone (without recording)
when it is connected to a PC sound
card. This function is used for spea-
ker training and direct dictation with
a speech recognition system.
Selects manual or automatic
shutdown.
Switches the display lighting on/off.
Sets the date and time (timestamp
for dictations).
Displays the version of the device
software (firmware).
Completely resets the device (restores
the factory settings).
All existing dictations and settings
are lost.
Selects a language for the menu
guidance.
