The »PC microphone« function enables you to do the spea-
ker training with a voice recognition system or to create a
direct dictation. You can use the dictation device as a micro-
phone by connecting the earphones socket of the dictation
device to the microphone input of the PC sound card with a
standard cable with a 3.5 mm mono jack plug.
• Use the up-down button » « or » « to select the
»Settings« menu item and then press the »OK« button.
• Use the up or down button » « » « to select the menu
item »PC microphone«.
• Press the »OK« button.
– »Activate PC microphone?« appears in the display.
• Press the »OK« button.
– »PC microphone mode« appears in the display.
• Use the »VOL + _ « button to adjust the recording level.
• To start dictating, push the slide switch to » START«.
• If you move the slide switch to »
to the sound card is interrupted preventing the sound
recognition system from interpreting disturbing noise.
• Press the »ESC« button to end the function.
