FUNCTIONS IN THE MENU
Author
The »Author« function is used to select which author is
making the dictation.
You can only select this function if it has been enabled. Please
ask your specialist dealer.
• Use the up-down button » « or » « to select the
»Author« menu item.
• Press the »OK« button.

Note:
The author currently selected is highlighted. If no author is
to be selected (<no entry>), press the »NONE« button.
• Use the up-down button » « or » « to select the new
author.
Note:
Press the »ESC« button if no change is to be made to the
author.
• Press the »OK« button.
Notes:

All prior settings of the author (e.g. transcriber, work type,
group, microphone sensitivity, lighting, etc.) are adopted.
The dictation counter increases the dictation number
regardless of the author set.
You may preallocate the list of authors using the
StenoNet.mail or Steno.trans PC software.
