The »Format memory« function enables you to format the
internal memory or the MultiMediaCard/SecureDigital Card
(MMC/SD). All data will be deleted.
• Use the up-down button » « or » « to select the
»Format memory« menu item.
• Press the »OK« button.
– »Format memory?« appears in the display.
Note:
Make sure that a MultiMediaCard/SecureDigital Card
is inserted as otherwise the internal memory will be
formatted.
• Press the »OK« button.
Directories and files with administrative data are created in
the internal memory or the MultiMediaCard/SecureDigital
Card. For this reason the entire memory capacity is not
available for recording dictations.
Note:
The internal memory and the MultiMediaCard/Secure
Digital Card may not be formatted as a removable disk
with a PC formatting function.
