Disassembly Procedure
Remove the differential cover. [Point 11

Measure the ring gear backlash. [Point 21

Remove the drive pinion ASSY. [Point 41

Remove the output gear. [Point 51

Remove the drive pinion, bearing, spacer and shim from the retainer. [Point 61

Remove the pilot bearing. [Point 71
8
Remove the drive pinion bearing inner race. [Point 81

10 Remove the drive gear
Reassembly Procedure
The reassembly procedure is the reverse of the disassembly procedure.
