Safety information for maintenance

D WARNING!
Hazard through a disregard of the maintenance
instructions.
This chapter contains important information for the safe
maintenance of the device.
☞ Read through this chapter carefully before carrying out
maintenance work on the device.
☞ Follow the safety instructions.
☞ Carry out the maintenance work as described.
y Repairs only by qualified specialist personnel.

6.2 Maintenance
6.2.1

Charge battery

D WARNING
Risk of fire or electric shock due to heat or moisture.
The remote control is equipped with a battery. The battery
can explode if there is excessive heat or if liquid enters it.
☞ Never leave the remote control close to sources of heat
(e.g. fire, ovens, radiators).
☞ Prevent the remote control coming into contact with
liquids.
D ATTENTION!
Danger of damage due to improper handling.
Damaged or prohibited cables and charging devices can
make the battery unusable.
☞ Handle the remote control with extreme care.
☞ Use only the USB cable and power adapter supplied.
☞ Connect the remote control to the USB cable and the
power adapter.
☞ Plug the power adapter into the socket.
y The battery charges, the LED flashes.
y The charging process takes around 2 hours.
y The LED illuminates continuously once the charging
process is complete.
If the battery can no longer be charged:
☞ Please consult your dealer or customer services.
