Installation
For ceiling consoles with lowering capability and JetStream
technology:
☞ Ensure that the ceiling console is connected correctly.
☞ Ensure that the accessories (e.g. wall box, window contact
switch) are connected.
 Observe the associated documentation.
D WARNING!
Risk of injury due to the device falling down.
Loosen the mounting sleeves to align the device. If the
fastening sleeves are loosened too far, the support cable
can be torn out of the screwed end and the device may fall
down. The device's size and weight can cause severe injuries.
☞ Never unscrew the fastening sleeves completely.
☞ Ensure that there is no more than 10 mm of thread on the
screwed end visible.
☞ Align the hood body horizontally by adjusting the
fastening sleeves.
☞ Tighten all fastening sleeves using the lock nuts (counter
nuts) on the ceiling mounting plate.
☞ Ensure that all fastening sleeves are fully tightened on the
ceiling mounting plate.
The hood body is aligned and secured.

For ceiling consoles with glass cover and integrated ceiling
effect lighting:
y A second power cable is required for the connection
of the transformer to the customer's power supply. The
power cable must be connected with an illuminated
switch provided by the customer.
y Operation of the ceiling effect lighting takes place
exclusively via the customer's illuminated switch. Control
via the remote control is not possible.
y The rotary controller on the ceiling mounting plate can be
used to set the light colour of the ceiling effect lighting to
suit the lighting colour of the kitchen environment.
D WARNING
Risk of death due to electric shock.
Touching live parts can cause an electric shock, burns or
death.
☞ Ensure that the power supply is switched off and remains
so.
☞ Connect the mains cable for the effect lighting to the
transformer on the ceiling mounting plate.
☞ Connect the ceiling console's lighting to the room
lighting.
☞ Switch the lighting on.

☞ Set the light colour to suit the lighting colour of the
kitchen environment.
