PTZ Auto Tracking
Application
This application tracks a moving target, and
automatically moves a remote camera to maintain
optimum compositing while shooting.
Use a remote camera that supports remote control of the
pan, tilt, and zoom functions for the PTZ Auto Tracking
application.
Note
The PTZ Auto Tracking option function must be
enabled before configuring or running the PTZ Auto
Tracking application. Activate the corresponding pre-
installed license, or purchase and install a license.

Preparation before setup

Connect the camera and the device to which
to output the tracking result image to the
unit.
Connect according to [Camera 1] or [Camera 2] for
which [PTZ Auto Tracking] is specified from
[Applications].
Note
Connect the unit and remote camera to a network so
that they can communicate using VISCA over IP to
control the camera from the unit. Connect using a
network connection, as shown in "System
Configuration" (page 7).
When running the PTZ Auto Tracking
application standalone:
Select [PTZ Auto Tracking] for [Camera 1] from
[Applications]. Do not select the application for
[Camera 2].
The camera and video output device connection is
shown below.

When running together with the
Handwriting Extraction application:
When [PTZ Auto Tracking] is selected for
[Camera 1] and [Handwriting Extraction] for
[Camera 2] from [Applications], the camera and
video output device connection is shown below.
