Application Setup and Operation

Note
Option functions must be enabled before configuring or
running an application. To enable an option function,
you must activate a pre-installed license or purchase and
install a license. For details, see "[License] tab"
(page 24).
Configuring an
Application
Configure application settings before running an
application. This configuration is performed by the
administrator.
Note
Connect the unit and external devices before
configuring the application. Disconnecting and
reconnecting an HDMI cable, turning HDMI devices
on/off, or switching video signals while configuring or
running an application may prevent the settings from
being configured successfully or adversely affect the
video output from the unit.

Access the unit from a web browser.
For details about accessing the unit, see "Accessing
the Unit from a Web Browser" (page 11).

Select the application.
Select the applications to use for [Camera 1] and
[Camera 2] from [Applications].
When applications are selected for both [Camera 1]
and [Camera 2], both applications can be run
simultaneously. However, the applications that can
be run simultaneously are restricted to the
following.
• PTZ Auto Tracking
• Handwriting Extraction
The camera or other video device connected to
[HDMI IN 1] in [Input/Output] (page 14) becomes
the input video source of the application specified
for [Camera 1]. Similarly, the camera or other video
device connected to [HDMI IN 2] becomes the input
video source of the application specified for
[Camera 2].

Click the [Setup] button.
The application starts, and the setup screen for the
application appears.
Common application setup
operation
You can configure an application using the setup wizard
help guide displayed on the screen.
Press the [Next] button to move to the next screen of the
setup wizard, or the [Back] button to return to the
previous screen. Click the [Done] button to complete the
configuration.

Running an application

After configuring an application, click the [Run] button
on the application screen to run the application.
If an application is selected only for [Camera 1] from
[Applications], only the image for the running
application is displayed on the screen.
