Configuring PPTP Users

PPTP connections are formed between users and a terminating
device. The Gateway is able to act as that device and needs to
know the user names and passwords of those that are allowed
to connect by PPTP.
Viewing PPTP Users
The PPTP Connections Screen shows information about the PPTP
connections made by the Gateway. It also allows you to add,
delete, edit and temporarily disable PPTP connections.

For each connection made by the Gateway, a row is added to
the table. Each row contains the following items:
Delete button — Deletes the PPTP User on that row. This will

prevent the user from establishing a secure connection with
the Gateway in future.
Name — Each user is named. This name is used to identify

the connection. Clicking the name of a connection displays
the Edit IPSec screen. See
below.
Description — A text description of the user that enables you
I
to identify their account.
Logged In — This field in the table displays whether the user
I
is currently logged in via PPTP.
