Raising and lowering your hand

The raise hand feature enables participants to raise their hand to indicate that they need
something from the host or moderator. For example, many moderators use this feature for
question and answer sessions. Participants can raise and lower their own hand. Moderators can
see raised hands and can lower them. As a moderator, it is helpful to inform your participants how
you would like to use this feature at the start of the meeting. For more information, see
a Videoconference
Procedure
1. Start the meeting.
2. Access the Raise Hand button. From the XT Series web interface, select Participants >
Local Participant > Raise Hand. From the endpoint's main menu, select Call Panel >
Participants > Local Participant > Raise Hand.
3. Click Raise Hand.
