Data Communication Wiring

Data communication wires are required for operation of each fueling position with a control console or controller.
The data wires can be put in the same conduit as the other pump wiring. Refer to the Wiring Information for All LNG
Series Remote Dispenser with 708 Electronics – Current Loop Diagram or Wiring Information for All LNG Series Remote
Dispenser with 708 Electronics –RS-485 COMM Diagram for additional information.

Current Loop Fuel Wire Termination: (Dispenser Power Board TS5)

Refer to the 515 Pump Controller Installation & Service Manual or your control console installation manual for more
information.
1. Connect 1 Orange 18ga. (+ positive) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 4. Connect
the other end to the 515 Pump Controller or control console.
2. Connect 1 Yellow 18ga. (- negative) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 5. Connect
the other end to the 515 or control console.

RS-485 Fuel Wire Termination: (White Terminal Block)

1. Connect 1 Orange 18ga. (+positive) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 4. Connect
the other end to the Dual Fan Out Box (Interconnection Box).
2. Connect 1 Black 18ga. (common) wire through the junction box to Timer Board TS3, Terminal 5 for a ground
connection. Connect the other end to the Dual Fan Out Box (Interconnection Box).
3. Connect 1 Brown 18ga. (- negative) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 6 for a
negative connection. Connect the other end through to the Dual Fan Out Box (Interconnection Box).

RS-485 Communication Hub Board Wire Termination: (Dispenser COM Board TS1)

1. Connect 1 Orange 18ga. (+positive) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 7. Connect
the other end to RS485 LNG Lang Data.
2. Connect 1 Brown 18ga. (- negative) wire through the junction box to the Timer Board TS3, Terminal 8 for a
negative connection. Connect the other end to RS485 LNG Lang Data.

RS-485 Card Reader Wire Termination: (Dispenser Power Board TS4)

Refer to the Bennett 621 Interconnection Box Installation, Service, & Parts Manual for more information.
1. Connect 1 Violet 18ga. (+ positive) wire through the junction box to Timer Board TS3, Terminal 1. Connect the
other end to the 621 Interconnection Box.
2. Connect 1 Gray 18ga. (common) wire through the junction box to Timer Board TS3, Terminal 2. Connect the other
end to the 621 Interconnection Box.
3. Connect 1 Blue 18ga. (- negative) wire through the junction box to Timer Board TS3, Terminal 3. Connect the
other end to 621 Interconnection Box.
