General Description
When the Attendant responds to guest calls via the GST or ANSWER key on the Console, or when a call is
answered at the Front Desk Terminal, DIRECT SERVICE is established by pressing the associated set/reset key.
Station number dialing, ENTER and EXIT operations are not required. DIRECT-SERVICE SET/RESET is
available for the following:
AUTOMATIC WAKE-UP
DO NOT DISTURB
MESSAGE WAITING
ROOM CUTOFF
ROOM STATUS
Operating Procedure
The Attendant answers an incoming guest call via the GST or ANSWER key, or the call is answered at the Front
Desk Terminal (guest information is displayed). The guest hangs up after specifying the desired services.
Step
The Attendant presses the desired set/reset function

key.
(Note)
Press the CANCL key.

Note:
For AUTOMATIC WAKE-UP [A-10], dial required time after Step 1 and press ENTER.
Service Conditions
1.
SET/RESET can be established for one or all of these services simultaneously (any combination), prior to
pressing the CANCL key.
