Compliance with UL/CSA standard

Use a direct drive motor that complies with the UL/CSA standard. For the latest information of compliance, contact your local
sales office.
Unless otherwise specified, the handling, performance, specifications, etc., of the UL/CSA compliant products are the same
as those of the standard models.
Flange size
The direct drive motor complies with the UL/CSA standard when it is mounted on the flanges made of aluminum whose sizes
are indicated in the following table.
The rated torque of the direct drive motor under the UL/CSA standard indicates the continuous permissible torque value that
can be generated when the motor is mounted on the flange specified in this table, and used in an environment with a specified
ambient temperature (0 ˚C to 40 ˚C). Therefore, to comply with the UL/CSA standard, mount the direct drive motor on a
machine with a heat radiating effect equivalent to that of this flange.
