Removing And Installing Left Or Right Side Window Vents - Volkswagen Passat 2011 Workshop Manual

Removing
– Remove plastic bolts -2- and remove footwell trim panel -1- on
front passenger side.
– Remove glove compartment ⇒ General body repair, interior;
Rep. gr. 68 ; Compartments/covers .
– Pull glove compartment cooling hose off heater and air con‐
ditioning system ⇒ page 93
– Remove bolt -2- (1.5 Nm).
– Pull footwell vent -1- off heater and air conditioning unit in
-direction of arrow-.
Installing
– Install footwell vents in reverse order of removal, ensuring
correct seating on heater and air conditioning unit.
– Fit glove compartment cooling hose on to heater and air con‐
ditioning system ⇒ page 93
– Install glove compartment ⇒ General body repair, interior;

Note
Side window vents are integrated into the A-pillar trim and cannot
be replace individually.
Removing
