– Pull condensate drain hose -1- off heater and air conditioning
unit and body.
Installing
– Install condensate drain hose -1- in reverse order of removal,
noting the following:
♦ It must be possible to push condensate drain hose onto heater
and air conditioning unit connection without tension.
♦ Condensate drain hose must be seated securely on heater
and air conditioning unit.
♦ Condensate drain hose must not be kinked or pinched.
– Install right-side trim panel on centre console ⇒ General body
repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 68 ; Centre console; Assembly over‐
view - centre console .

Checking condensation drain

Check
Note
The valve is located in front right of the vehicle behind the under‐
body cladding.
– Release underbody cladding -1 and 2- in area of valve.
– Check valve -arrow-.
♦ Must not be blocked with wax, undercoating or dirt.
♦ It must open and close properly.
– Attach underbody cladding.
