Note 1) When any setting of parameters below is 0, the servo amplifier is tripped by undefined data error
protection (error code No.69), and the motor stops in conformance with alarm mode operation.
- 16-bit positioning parameter No.40 (jog speed (low speed))
- 16-bit positioning parameter No.41 (jog speed (high speed))
- 16-bit positioning parameter No.42 (acceleration setting in jog operation)
- 16-bit positioning parameter No.44 (deceleration setting in jog operation)
Note 2) When jog operation is continued in the same direction and present position (-2147483647 -
2147483647) overflows, the motor is tripped by present position overflow error protection (error code
No.70) and stops in conformance with alarm mode operation. This error can be made invalid by 16-bit
positioning parameter No.51 (wraparound permission), but absolute position cannot be guaranteed.
When the motor is used with wraparound invalid, use only in relative operation.
Note 3) When drive prohibition input in operation direction is made valid during jog operation after completion
of homing, the motor is tripped by drive prohibition detect error protection (error code No.71), and
stops in conformance with alarm mode operation. Whether to trip or not here and deceleration operation
can be chosen by servo parameter No.55 (drive prohibit input operation setting).
However, when drive prohibit input in operation direction is made valid during jog operation in
incompletion of homing, the motor follows the deceleration pattern of servo parameter No.55, but no
error occurs.
Note 4) During jog operation after completion of homing, if the maximum movement, which is determined by
32-bit positioning parameter No.01 (plus direction maximum movement setting) and No.02 (minus
direction maximum movement setting), is exceeded, the motor is tripped by maximum movement
control error protection (error code No.72), and stops in conformance with alarm mode operation.
However, during jog operation in incompletion of homing, maximum movement limit error protection
does not work.
Note 5) In jog operation by external signal, only high speed forward rotation jog and reverse jog operation are
allowed. (When the console is used, low speed forward rotation jog and reverse jog are also allowed.)
Note 6) When high speed forward rotation jog and reverse rotation jog are specified respectively in multi
function input (EX-IN1 and EX-IN2) and EX-IN1 and EX-IN2 are both turned on, the motor does not
operate even if strobe signal input (STB) is turned on.
