3.3 Procedure for Turning On the Power
3.3.1 Procedure for Turning On the Power
When turning on the power to the system incorporating the unit, consider the nature and states
of any external devices connected to the system, and take sufficient care so that turning on the
power will not initiate unexpected movements.
1.
Turn on the power supplies for the input and output devices connected to the PLC.
2.
Turn ON the power supply for the PLC.
3.
Turn ON the power supply for the motor driver.
3.3.2 Procedure for Turning Off the Power
1.
Check to make sure the rotation of the motor has stopped, and then turn OFF the power
supply for the motor driver.
2.
Turn off the power supply for the PLC.
3.
Turn off the power supplies for the input and output devices connected to the PLC.
