SENSOR POSITION

The solid state sensors in the RaySafe Xi R/F and mammography detector are positioned approximately 7 mm
beneath the detector surface. The position is marked with a line on the aluminium housing. This position is
used as a calibration reference point for dose.
In the RaySafe Xi transparent detector, the white rectangle marks the position of the solid state sensor. The
depth is marked by the longitudinal sides of the white rectangle, as can been seen in the picture.
