9.3 Basic procedure for removal
Tools required
Phillips screwdriver
■
Slotted screwdriver 0.6 x 3.5 and 0.4 x 2.5
■
Socket spanner, sizes 7, 8, 5.5
■
No. 4 Allen key
■
Requirements
Check that the following requirements have been met:
The combi oven and hood are disconnected from the power supply and secured against being
■
switched on again.
Make sure that the appliance is de-energized.
■
There are two people or suitable equipment available for lifting the hood.
■
Make sure that the disassembly steps are only carried out in the order as defined in the procedure
■
for removal.
Removal procedure
Step
Action
Remove the baffle filter.

To do so, push the baffle filter upwards and
lift it out of the hood front.
Remove the hood front.

To do so, undo the two screws, then remove
the hood front.
Disconnect the electrical connections of the

hood.
To do so, open the cover of the electrical
box on the back of the hood and disconnect
the power supply cord and the control cable.
Remove the hood.

To do so, undo the screws that fix the bot‐
tom unit of the hood to the fixing brackets of
the appliance.
Remove the hood casing of the hood.

To do so, undo the screws on the side of the
hood casing and take off the hood casing.
Remove the hose connections from the ex‐

haust vent pipe and ventilation pipe of the
appliance.
To do so, open the hose clamps and push
the hose connections upwards.
With two people, lift off the bottom unit of

the hood.
Remove the control cable from the appli‐
8
ance.
