Hand lance detergent option

With the hand lance in use, check that the detergent container
has sufficient fluid. Turn on the control valve (6). Adjust the spray
pattern valve (7) on the hand lance to achieve desired affect.

Retractable hose

The hand lance is attached to a 13 metre long rubber hose fitted
to a hose reel (8). When extending the hose, a ratchet mechanism
allows the reel to lock in place. Further extending past the ratchet
allows the reel to retract.
The position of the hose reel and hand lance is determined by the
machine specification.
In certain cases the hand lance is fitted with a quick release
coupling (9).
It is vital that the water system is drained totally if the air
temperature is expected to fall to 0°c or below.
Draining the system - Open tank Drain valve: Refer to Page 19.
Remove water strainer (10). Open pump drain valves
(12).

The water pump should NEVER be permitted to run dry.
