If the vehicle can be ridden
with the tyre in its present con-
dition:
Correct the tyre pressure at
the earliest possible oppor-
tunity.
Before adjusting tyre pres-
sure, read the information on
temperature compensation
and adjusting pressure in the
section entitled "Engineering
details":

Find the correct tyre pres-
sures in the following places:
Back cover of the rider's
manual
Instrument cluster in the
view
PRESSURE
Sign under the seat
Have the tyre checked for
damage by a specialist work-
shop, preferably an authorised
BMW Motorrad retailer.
You can deactivate RDC
warnings for riding in off-
road mode.
If you are unsure whether the
vehicle can be ridden with the
tyre in its present condition:
Do not continue your journey.
Notify the breakdown service.
Transmission fault
with tyre pressure control
(RDC)
Possible cause:
The vehicle has not reached the
minimum speed (
min 30 km/h (The RDC
sensor does not transmit its
signal to the vehicle until a

certain minimum speed has
been reached.)
Increase speed above this
threshold and observe the
RDC readings.
