owner, the data saved in the
electronic service booklet
can also be viewed by
the new vehicle owner. A
BMW Motorrad retailer or a
specialist workshop can also
view data that is stored in the
electronic service booklet.
Objection
The vehicle owner can object
to entries being made by the
BMW Motorrad retailer or a
specialist workshop in the elec-
tronic service booklet along
with the corresponding storage
of data in the vehicle and trans-
fer of data to the vehicle man-
ufacturer for the period of time
that they are the vehicle owner.
In this instance, no entry is
made in the electronic service
booklet of the vehicle.

As owner of a new BMW
vehicle, in circumstances in
which assistance is required
you can benefit from the
protection afforded by the
various BMW Motorrad
mobility services (e.g. Mobile
Service, breakdown service,
vehicle recovery service).
Ask your authorised
BMW Motorrad retailer for
information about the mobility
services offered.

MAINTENANCE WORK

BMW pre-delivery check
Your authorised
BMW Motorrad retailer
conducts the BMW pre-delivery
check before handing over the
vehicle to you.
BMW Running-in Check
The BMW running-in check has
to be performed when the mo-
torcycle has covered between
500 km and 1200 km.
BMW Service
The BMW Service is carried out
once a year; the extent of ser-
vicing can vary, depending on
the age of the vehicle and the
distance it has covered. Your
authorised BMW Motorrad re-
tailer confirms that the service
work has been carried out and
enters the date when the next
service will be due.
Riders who cover long dis-
tances in a year might have
to bring in their vehicles for
service before the next sched-
uled date. It is to allow for
