Funktion und Anwendung

Aus der Differenz der Druck- oder Vaku-
umwerte der beiden Anschlüsse bildet
eine Druckmeßzelle ein analoges elek-
trisches Signal.
Dieses wird mit dem eingestellten
Schwellwert verglichen.
Bei Erreichen oder Überschreiten des
Schwellwertes schalten die beiden elek-
trischen Ausgänge um.
Der (V)PENV ist als Schließer, Öffner
oder Wechsler einsetzbar. Er dient zur
Umwandlung pneumatischer Druckwerte
in elektrische Signale, die für Steue-
rungs- oder Überwachungsfunktionen
gebraucht werden.
• Stellen Sie sicher, daß hoch-
frequente Einstrahlungen (z.B. durch
Funkgeräte, Handtelefone oder son-
stige störaussendende Geräte) vom
(V)PENV ferngehalten werden.
So vermeiden Sie erhöhte Toleran-
zen des Ausgangsdrucks (vgl. hierzu
die Angaben zur EMV im Kapitel
Technische Daten).

Function and application

An integrated pressure sensor forms an
analogue electrical signal from the diffe-
rence between the pressure or vacuum
values of the two connections.
This is compared with the set threshold
value.
If the threshold value is reached or
exceeded, the applied switching voltage
will be switched to another output.
The (V)PENV can be used both as a
normally-open or normally-closed con-
tact or as a changeover switch. It is
used for conver-ting pneumatic pressure
values into electrical signals, which are
required for control or monitor functions.
• Make sure that high-frequency
interference sources (e.g. walkie-
talkies,hand telephones or other non-
suppressed devices) are kept at a
safe distance form the (V)PENV.
In this way you can avoid increased
tolerances of the output pressure
(compare the EMC specifications in
the section "Technical specifications).
