BEFORE FIRST USE

WARNING: DO NOT let young children play with the appliance, or any part of
it, or the packaging! The blades at the bottom of the filter basket are very sharp. Do
not touch the blades.

Always unplug the appliance before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. Do not
immerse the motor base or power cord in water or other liquids or spill any liquids

an automatic dishwasher.
Unpack the appliance and all accessories carefully.
Check that no parts are damaged or missing (see: 'Knowing Your New »Easy Jui-

Carefully remove all shipping materials, stickers, and promotional materials.
However, DO NOT remove the model label.
Before first use and after a longer period of storage, clean the filter basket, food
pusher, pulp container and its cover, juice jug lid, and juice jug in warm dishwater.
However, do not touch the blades in the filter basket. For cleaning, see: 'Care and
Cleaning'.
Wipe the exterior of the motor base and power cord with a damp sponge or cloth.

OPERATION

WARNING – Risk of Injuries:

ded for cutting and blending food. For this, the appliance is using sharp blades in
high speed rotation. Thus, improper use or misuse may cause severe injuries and
damage. Always switch OFF the appliance and wait until the filter basket comes to
a complete standstill, then unplug the appliance, before moving or cleaning the
appliance and before assembling or disassembling any parts. DO NOT open the
locking arms with the filter basket still spinning
unattended while connected to the power supply.
The blades at the bottom of the filter basket are very sharp. Use caution when hand-
ling the filter basket. Do not insert your hands or any foreign objects (e.g. clothes,
brushes, cooking utensils) in the feed chute, with the appliance connected to the
power supply. Do not hold your face over the feed chute during operation, because
parts of food could splash out of the feed chute.
