8.4. Wiring Check

8.4.1. E-Mon Energy Meter
Use the energy meter front panel display to check and acknowledge the wiring check alarm
and PF error message. During a missing phase voltage, the energy meter LED blinks with red
color to notify the user about a missing phase voltage and power factor error.
Check for the wiring connection and use the front panel navigation as mentioned in section
Front Panel Display & Navigation.
i.
Go to the Setup menu and navigate to the check wiring option and press SET.
ii.
Press up/down to view the 'Missing phase P' message and 'PF Error'.
iii.
Check the connection and repair before acknowledging.
iv.
Go the 'wiring check' option and press SET to enter.
v.
Highlight 'Acknowledge' option and press SET.
vi.
Select yes and press SET to clear the alarm. A message displays in the front panel
prompting 'Cleared, returning in 5 sec'.
8.4.2. E-Mon App
The wiring check allows users to ensure the system parameter setup using mobile app and
meter front panel display. This function enables alarm to flag differences in the wiring setup
and the system configuration.
i.
Tap on the commissioned meter to go to the dashboard.
ii.
Review the 'Wiring Check' section of dashboard. It displays the status of wiring
connection.
iii.
In event of missing wiring or power factor error, the wiring check section displays error
message "Power Factor Error, please check wiring connection".
iv.
Rectify the error and the application synchronizes with the setup.
v.
Check the dashboard for Phase voltage and power factor.
vi.
Tap on the override option to clear the error message.
