3.4.1. Push-in Terminals

The Push in terminals are available to enable easy installation of the device communication.
The communication terminals are designed for installation of pulse output using push in
buttons. Users can simply push the yellow buttons and plug the terminals to enable the meter
for pulse output. Post the connection, the entire setup shall be locked in using the red slider
button.

ATTENTION: Electrical Hazard!
Avoid Electrical Shock while making the connections using push-in terminals.
Always open or disconnect the monitored circuit from power-distribution system (or
service) of building before installation or maintenance of the communication setup.

3.5. Architecture

The E-Mon® meter architecture is designed to safeguard the sensitivity and functionality of
the energy meter. The E-Mon® Class 6000 meter has designated terminals for CS connection
and easy mounting system. The back panel is designed for convenient mounting using Din
rail which makes the device installation very quick and easy.
The meter has push-in terminals for easy plugging the communication wires and securing
them with the help of lock button. It is equipped with robust front panel display screen and
