7. Bluetooth Communication
Bluetooth communication is used for pairing to commission and read the meter in a more
user-friendly mobile App. Use the front panel LCD display for checking the pairing code and
verifying the communication security.
Start the discovery mode of your device using navigation button as mentioned in the section
3.2.4. It allows fast commissioning without front panel to setup values and energy readouts.
In order to enable the communication module, press the UP-navigation button available on
the meter front panel till the Bluetooth sign appears.
Check for the LED signal to indicate enable Bluetooth. Once an option is chosen, the indicator
light signals the Bluetooth connection and front panel menu shows the Bluetooth pairing
options. Refer to section 3.2.6 LED Signals for information on the LED behavior.
7.1. Pairing Device via Bluetooth Connectivity
For pairing the device:
i.
Start the meter and use front panel navigation buttons.
ii.
Enable BLE connection on the meter by pressing Up button for 3 seconds.
