2. Installation
• DO NOT TOUCH THE LAMP immediately after it has been used. It will be extremely hot. Turn the
projector off and then disconnect the power cord. Allow at least one hour for the lamp to cool
before handling.
• When removing the lamp from a ceiling-mounted projector, make sure that no one is under the
projector. Glass fragments could fall if the lamp has been burned out.

About High Altitude Mode

• Set [FAN MODE] to [HIGH ALTITUDE] when using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500
feet/1600 meters or higher.
• Using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1600 meters or higher without setting to
[HIGH ALTITUDE] can cause the projector to overheat and the protector could shut down. If this
happens, wait a couple of minutes and turn on the projector.
• Using the projector at altitudes less than approximately 5500 feet/1600 meters and setting to
[HIGH ALTITUDE] can cause the lamp to overcool and the image to flicker causing the image to
flicker. Switch [FAN MODE] to [AUTO].
• Using the projector at altitudes approximately 5500 feet/1600 meters or higher can shorten the
life of optical components such as the lamp.
