Normal Operation

Do one of the following:
•
Set the alarm level to a value lower than the lowest voltage just measured. Note
that this means that an alarm may occur with fewer capacitor units removed from
service.
•
Set up the unbalance compensation feature, as described in Unbalance Compensa-
tion on page 12.
Enable Normal Control Device Operation
1. If desired, review the present status of the control device on the Operation
screen.
To display the Operation screen, click the Operation button at any other IntelliLINK
screen. (For a detailed explanation of the Operation screen, see View the Operations
Information in the Troubleshooting Instruction Sheet 1011-550.)
2. If desired, generate a report.
Generate a report if you want a printed record of the control device settings or if you
have a problem that requires help from S&C. (For details, see Generating Reports in
the Operations Instruction Sheet 1011-540.)
3. Exit the IntelliLINK software.
Select Exit from the File menu at any IntelliLINK screen, then click OK.
4. Turn off your computer, then disconnect it from the control device.
This completes the control device setup operation.
