Adjust the sensitivity
Sensitivity control is also the power switch.Rotate it counterclockwise to the position of OFF,
turn off the power supply,rotate it clockwise to turn on the power supply,and increase the
sensitivity.
Adjust the discrimination
Rotate the DISC knob counterclockwise to the position of A-M,the unit will respond to all
kinds of metals.Rotating the DISC knob clockwise can adjust the discrimination capacity.
When rotating the knob clockwise,the unit will reject the metals according to the conductivi-
ty of metals from low to high.The reference sequence for discrimination is :iron,nickel,pull-
tab,zinc,brass and aluminum.
Note: silver can not be eliminated;the position of aluminum is very close to silver,so it may
not be eliminated. According to the different needs,you can choose the different discrimi-
nation levels.
Please note that when the ferrous metals are rejected,the detector may sound a short
"KOKO" tone,and the LED may be with weak light.It is normal.As long as the distance
between the metal and the search coil become a little far ,the "KOKO" tone will disappear.
