PUTTING THE SYSTEM INTO OPERATION
5.
Putting the system into operation
Avoid the wastewater pump(s) running dry at all costs, they could become damaged. Never switch pumps on if
the wastewater tank is not filled at least to the minimum level.
5.1.
Carry out a function check / initial operation.
5.1.1
Switch position ON
If the inlet is through one of the pre-scored areas rather than via the inlet connection, check the level for switch
Make sure that the lower edge of the inlet is no higher than 360 mm above the base of the wastewater tank. If it
5.1.2
Pump run-on time
Depending on the system configuration and length/diameter of the pressure pipe, a different run-on time than the
default setting may be required.
Functional check
Visual inspection through the opening in the access cover: Make sure that the level in the wastewater tank after
pumping is at least 1 cm <A> under the submersible pipe <32> (pressure sensor). The submersible pipe must
be vented during every pumping sequence.
To avoid the pump running dry, increase the run-on time only in steps of 1.
Increase the run-on time via the control unit settings menu if necessary, and then check again.
Carry out a functional check on the system in interaction with the
control unit. Refer to the operating and maintenance
instructions of the control unit for more information.
Initial operation must be carried out in accordance with EN 12056-4:2000
which requires the exact monitoring of
all system components as well as the written
