Once you have finished mixing, turn the container so that the blade unit is
facing upwards and unscrew it from the container. Put the lid provided on the
container, if required.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning and
maintenance. The blender bottle, blender container,
blade units and lid are dishwasher safe. (See special
instructions for blade unit and seal later in this
section.) Do not use harsh chemical agents or other
means with an abrasive effect. Remove any stubborn
stains by soaking and rubbing with a soft cloth and
mild detergent. Use a damp cloth when cleaning the
motor unit.
Dry all parts thoroughly and replace the blender bottle
with the blade unit in the motor unit. Snap the lid
securely to the base of the blender bottle.
Cleaning the rubber seal
When cleaning the blade unit, the rubber seal must
be removed from the blade unit to remove any food
residues.

1. Unscrew the blade unit from the bottle/
container. (Note that the blades are very
sharp.) Turn the blade unit upside down
and press the plastic stick provided into
the small hole on the underside of the
blade unit.
2. The seal will then loosen from the top of
the blade unit and can now be cleaned
with water and detergent.
