About this Guide

This guide discusses how to install, configure, and operate the Quantum Elite and
Quantum Connect videowall processors.
Throughout this guide, the terms "Quantum" and "processor" are used interchangeably to
refer to both Quantum Elite models and the Quantum Connect.

About the Quantum Videowall Processors

The Quantum Elite 615, Quantum Elite 408, the Quantum Connect 82, and the Quantum
Connect 84 are multi-window scalable and expandable videowall processors that can
be configured for a variety of input, output, and window capabilities. These processors
feature high performance video scaling technology that produces very high quality images.
The Elite models can be populated at the factory with any combination of DVI-I or HDMI
output cards, each of which supports up to 128 video graphic source windows, and with
input cards for composite or S-video, RGB or HD component video, HDMI, DVI, and SDI
(including 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI) sources. The two Quantum Connect models are
available with only HDMI input and output cards.
NOTES:
You can preprogram or create a variety of display scenarios as needed using the
Quantum Elite or the Quantum Connect control software interfaces for setup and system
operation. Many source signals can be shown at small sizes, a few at large sizes, or
many combinations of both. The Quantum high performance image scaling technology
accurately preserves the original image quality at all window sizes.
