OPERATION

When replacing the battery, perform the positioning of the
battery by putting its side face to the cushions (A) and (B).
If the battery positioning is not performed, the battery may
move during operation, and there will be a danger that
loosening of terminal and sparks may occur.

When replacing the battery, fix the battery body with the battery mounting fixtures.
Tightening torque
Nut (C): 6.9 to 9.8 Nm {0.7 to 1.0 kgm}
Nut (D): 3.9 to 6.9 Nm {0.4 to 0.7 kgm}

When installing the battery, connect the ground cable last.
When changing the angle of the terminal, loosen the termi-
nal bolt (E) and change the angle. Push the terminal fully
into electrode (2), and tighten the terminal bolt (E) to the
specified torque.
Tightening torque: 5.9 to 9.8 Nm {0.6 to 1.0 kgm}
REMARK
The batteries are on both sides at the rear of the machine. The
ground wire side battery is on the right side of the machine.
