Note
The relay is bistable, i.e. stable in both defined switched status. Therefore, the
current switched status and information about this status remain unchanged in
the event of a loss of voltage.
The relay meets both international standards of IEC and DIN EN 61810 part 1
/ VDE 0435 part 201 as well as overload and short circuit requirements of IEC
and EN 61036 / 61037.
Any configuration of the output modules is possible when designing the field-
bus node. Grouping of module types is not necessary.
Attention
The relay output module 750-523 should not be directly connected to the
following modules: analog input module 750-467 (2 DI DC 0-10 V, up to
version number 3005), 750-468 (4 DI DC 0-10 V, up to version number 3005)
and 750-476 (2 DI DC +/-10 V, up to version number 3005)!
The output module has 24 V and 0 V built-in power jumper contacts. The
24 V power supply is used to trigger the relays.
The module is powered using an adjacent I/O module or a supply module via
power jumper contacts. The power supply to the following I/O modules is
made automatically by means of power contacts.
Warning
The maximum current of the internal power jumper contacts is 10 A. When
configuring the system it is important not to exceed the maximum/sum cur-
rent. However, if such a case should occur, another supply module must be
added.
Attention
A power supply module is required to connect the following I/O modules to
the ground!
Note
For the protection of relay coils and contacts, inductive loads must be damp-
ened with an effective protection circuit!
Examples of protection circuits can be seen in the section 2.1.2 "Contact Pro-
tective Circuit for Relay Modules".
The output module 750-523 can be used with all couplers/controllers of the
WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750.
